Say What You Need to Say

I’ve never been a John Mayer fan (I know, I know, feel free to unfollow me), but I am huge on getting things off my chest. Why? Because tomorrow is never promised. I mean, the next five seconds aren’t a guarantee, which means anyone who gets to experience tomorrow essentially won the lottery.

Sound overdramatic? Don’t believe me? Ask someone who’s just lost a loved one. Or someone at the end of a terminal illness. Time is finite, and the sooner we appreciate that, the sooner we can appreciate each other.

I want this post to be about more than just telling those we love that we love them, though. That’s why I’ve actually thought long and hard about this question:

If you found yourself in a situation where you knew you weren’t likely to survive, what would you say on that final call?
