The Top 5 Benefits of Having No Parents
I know what you’re thinking. “But, Courtney, you can’t say that.”
Umm, yes I can. For a few reasons:
I had living parents and don’t anymore. Therefore, I can speak to the pros and cons of both.
I can say whatever I want. It’s my blog.
This is a tongue-in-cheek post, but it doesn’t mean the content is without merit.
We all know those people who want to turn every situation into a positive. Members of the Silver Lining Squad who are just waiting to pounce and illuminate the good in every situation.
I know these people well. I’ve been a member (still part-time member). My MC (main character) is, like, the president of her local chapter in When Happily Ever After Fails. And, with no parents, fertility struggles and the breast cancer gene, I have constant experiences with these people. Before you ask, I totally find them just annoying as you do. I’m also aware that means I’m annoying when I Positive Power a sucky situation. Sorry. I’m working on it.

In an effort to see the lighter side of a heavy situation, I bring you the top 5 benefits of having no parents.
